Hi all! This page exists to provide more detail about the houses in my townhouse. I do my best to keep the info below accurate and current. Rooms in the house rent with lease terms around 12 months. The house is a four bedroom, 4 and 1/2 bath townhouse, with four levels. Check out the floor plans linked above to see how it is laid out. All rooms include wall mounted flat panel LCD TVs.

About The House
Amenities in the house include FIOS high speed wireless internet access, a fireplace on two floors, a new, fenced-in hardwood patio, washer/dryer, an unbelievable new 73 inch HDTV with HD DVR. The front door is on the first floor, not in the (above ground) basement. Each room has a ceiling fan/light fixture to allow roommates to adjust temperatures to their liking in addition to central heat and air.

We are all generally quiet and respectful, the house has a grown up, family feel, rather than a frat house feel. It is in excellent shape and though we have a few parties and get togethers, we also like to keep the house clean.  Our perfect new roommate would be in his or her 20s or 30s, have a professional job and be laid back, clean and sociable.  We need very little in terms of furniture, so most anything you are bringing you should plan to have in the bedroom.

The house is in a nice neighborhood, located 0.2 miles (a 4 minute walk) from the Virginia Square metro (orange line) and 0.25 miles to the Clarendon metro. It is also extremely convenient to the restaurants and bars of Clarendon itself, to GMU Law School and to the parks of N. Arlington. Some of the bars/restaurants within a half mile walk:



The address is 878 N. Jackson St, Arlington, 22201, and Google Maps can show you just how close it is to everything.  Click here to view pictures from the corner of the lot towards Clarendon to give you an idea of the distance to those areas.  Below I have a Google Maps with walking paths laid out from both Clarendon and Va. Square metro stations.



On-street parking is available and free, but you must register your car in Arlington to get a sticker. We have guest permits that you can use until that is taken care of. The neighborhood is quiet and there is never a problem finding parking spaces within a block or two, and certainly never a problem with security at night. The block is full of young families and grandparents, incredibly safe and quiet.

Roads: I-66 is 1.1 miles away; Rt 50 is 0.75 miles away. Very quick access to Tysons by 66, I used to commute to Tysons and the drive was 20 minutes door to door to the heart of Tysons.

Ground Floor Suite - Available
The first level of the house, where the owner lived from 2005-2015, includes a bedroom, full bathroom, a living room with wall-mounted TV and a couple storage areas. The complete private space is huge, the bedroom itself is reasonable size. The bedroom has one wall utilized for floor to ceiling storage, comprising drawers, hanging space and shelving that allows (when coupled with the drawers under the bed itself) the room to have a ton of storage without needing any furniture beyond the bed. The living room is furnished with couches and a 50 inch LED on the wall, and its use is under exclusive control of the resident of this room. The bathroom has a nice, upgraded shower and sink with granite countertop. Monthly rent for this suite is $1300 + 1/4 of utilities with a one month security deposit.

Master Bedroom - Not Available
The "Master" bedroom is 234 sq ft including bathroom and closet space, and also has a ton of closet storage stacked doubly to add to the total capacity. The closet runs the full width of the room. The bathroom was redone (new granite sink, vanity, cabinet and shower head) recently and everything looks and works like new, with black granite coutertop here as well. The bathroom also features a bath tub, clean and well cared-for. The Master bedroom has a 40 inch flat panel TV mounted on the wall and an AppleTV. The monthly rent for Master is $1250 + 1/4 of utils, with a one month security deposit.

Private Suite - Not Available
The private suite is the only room on its floor, giving it a very private feel. It is 262 square feet with its own private bathroom with shower, two good sized closets adding up to a ton of closet space, and and a window. I installed a wall mounted LED into the bed nook, which will be great for lazy Sunday mornings or evening entertainment. It also has a 42 inch LCD TV It has direct access to quite a lot of extra storage space through three doors that lead to storage areas behind the walls. Anything you would want to store would fit with room to spare. The bathroom has a new granite sink, a new vanity cabinet and all new fixtures. The shower has an awesome rainfall showerhead.   The monthly rent is $1350 + 1/4 of utils and there is a one month security deposit.

Bedroom #2 - Not Available
Bedroom #2 measures 221 sq feet and like the other two has a newly updated bathroom with lots of vanity storage space and a nice rainfall showerhead and new sink. This room is bright and airy with two big windows and plantation shutters. The room has a 32 inch wall mounted flat panel tv and a nice big closet with mirrored doors

The monthly rent is $1250 plus 1/4 of utilities, and a one month security deposit.
Bedroom #2 features:
Apple TV 42 inch LCD TV

I will require one month deposit and references.

About The Roommates
The other residents of the house are early/late 20s guys - they are easy to get along with and respectful and would welcome a woman or man to complete the house. There are no smokers in the house, and I do not allow smoking in the house.

Finally, a little about myself. I am 44 and I own a computer support business. I moved out of the house in 2015 and got married, but I live nearby and I am easily reached when there is something to be fixed or any other question in the house. I am a laid-back landlord and as long as the rent is paid on time, I make life as easy as I can for you. Having lived in the house for 13 years I am right on top of whatever needs doing around the house.
